I picked up the G6760 from a local trucking terminal.
This crate is big!
I removed the crate while the mill was still on the trailer

I attempted to lift the mill from the pallet with the portable crane in the 2000 lb position.
I could not lift it high enough to clear one bolt coming up through the pallet......
Note: this is a 2 ton (4000 lb) portable crane
I extended the boom all the way out to the 1000 lb position and picked straight up.
It lifted the mill without any problem. I picked the mill up off the pallet and then changed the
boom back to the 2000 lb position.
With the portable crane boom in the 2000 lb position I lifted the
mill high enough to drive the trailer out from under the mill.
After driving the trailer out from under the mill I lowered the mill onto some
2x4's to help stabilize the load. I only set a slight amount of weight on the 2x4's.
I was able to roll the mill into the shop and start cleaning off the cosmoline.
They really got carried away with the cosmoline and it took forever to clean.
I guess this is better than not enough!
