Grizzly 8689 Mini Mill

Sorry but due to my old ISP ( Aerocom ) going out of business without warning I lost almost all of the
mini mill web site. Here's a few items that managed to save. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Spindle Lock Pin

A spring loaded pin can be engaged to lock the spindle.

A slot was cut into the motor housing to allow a small
allen head set screw to act as a stop.

(The spring shown above was replaced with a lighter spring.
The spring does not need to be very stiff at all )

Intermediate Gear

        Intermediate Gear: If you have not broken an intermediate gear yet you will. This is a nylon gear that is driven
        by the motor gear. It is made to break to protect the rest of the gears. It sits under the top motor plate.
        The Little Machine Shop has everything you need for the Mini Mill:
        Gear Intermediate Part # 1209

        Rack Gear Z axis:   If you have a Harbor Freight or Homier Mini Mill you may have a short Z axis rack gear.
        This is the gear that the head of the mini mill travels up and down on. The short rack gear is 8.75" long
        and limits the travel of the milling head. The Little Machine Shop has the longer 14" rack gear that comes
        standard on the Grizzly 8689 mini mill. It has 4 attaching holes and is a direct bolt on for the HF and Homier's.
